HelpCraft

Terms of Use

Terms for using HelpCraft.shop and the HelpCraft Shopify app.

Effective date: 20 September 2026

About these Terms

These Terms of Use govern access to and use of HelpCraft.shop and the HelpCraft Shopify app, together referred to as “HelpCraft” or the “Service”.

The Service is operated by DIGILAB EOOD, established at Bulgaria, Sofia, zh.k. Ilinden 1712.

By installing, accessing or using HelpCraft for a Shopify store, you agree to these Terms and confirm that you have authority to act for that store or the business that owns it. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the Service.

The Service

HelpCraft is a Shopify-native customer help-content management and publishing app. It provides tools for creating, organizing, previewing, translating and publishing customer-facing help content through supported Shopify surfaces.

Available features may depend on your HelpCraft plan, Shopify store configuration and Shopify platform capabilities.

HelpCraft is not a live chat service, helpdesk, ticketing system, CRM, support-agent inbox or legal advisory service.

Eligibility and Shopify

You must have the necessary authority to install and manage apps for the Shopify store where HelpCraft is used.

You are responsible for maintaining a valid Shopify account and for complying with the terms and policies applicable to your use of Shopify.

Shopify is an independent third-party platform. HelpCraft relies on Shopify APIs, app extensions, account features and other Shopify services. Changes, restrictions or interruptions affecting Shopify may therefore affect parts of HelpCraft.

Permitted use

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use HelpCraft for your business and Shopify store while you have access to the Service.

You must not:

  • use HelpCraft for unlawful, fraudulent or deceptive activity;
  • publish content that infringes the rights of another person or business;
  • publish malicious code, harmful content or intentionally deceptive links;
  • attempt to gain unauthorized access to HelpCraft, another merchant's data or systems connected to the Service;
  • interfere with the security, operation or availability of the Service;
  • attempt to bypass authentication, plan restrictions, usage limits or billing controls.

We may take reasonable measures to prevent abuse or protect the Service, Shopify merchants and customers.

Merchant content and responsibilities

You retain your rights to the content that you create or provide through HelpCraft.

You are responsible for the accuracy, legality, suitability and continued validity of your Help Center content, including policies, links, translations, tracking information and other customer-facing material.

To the extent necessary to provide the Service, you grant us a limited right to process, format, transmit and manage that content on your behalf through Shopify.

HelpCraft templates, guided content and suggested wording are provided as editing and publishing tools. They are not legal advice and do not guarantee compliance with consumer, privacy, shipping, refund, accessibility or other laws applicable to your business.

You are responsible for reviewing content before publishing it and for obtaining any rights, permissions or consents necessary for material that you provide.

Plans, pricing and billing

HelpCraft may offer Free and paid plans, including Pro capabilities.

The plans, prices, billing periods, trials and other commercial terms currently presented through Shopify are authoritative for paid access to the Service.

Paid HelpCraft subscriptions are billed through Shopify. Billing dates, prorating, taxes, credits and other billing mechanics may be determined by Shopify and the merchant's Shopify billing arrangements.

Requests concerning refunds or billing disputes should be sent to HelpCraft Support and will be handled subject to applicable law and the billing capabilities available through Shopify.

If you downgrade from a paid plan, features that require that plan may become unavailable. HelpCraft does not intentionally delete existing Shopify-hosted Help Center content or saved translations solely because of a plan downgrade.

Uninstalling HelpCraft stops future recurring app billing in accordance with Shopify's billing process, but charges that have already been generated or are pending may still appear on a Shopify bill.

Privacy and data

Our handling of personal and operational information is described in the HelpCraft Privacy Policy.

HelpCraft uses only the data and Shopify permissions reasonably required for the features being used. Some permissions may be requested only when you enable a feature that requires them.

You are responsible for your own privacy notices and other legal obligations relating to customers, visitors and content published through your Shopify store.

No internet-connected service can guarantee absolute security. We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards appropriate to the Service, but cannot guarantee that security incidents or service interruptions will never occur.

Third-party services

HelpCraft depends on Shopify and may interact with other third-party services or websites when a merchant chooses to use related functionality or links.

Third-party services are governed by their own terms, privacy practices and availability. We are not responsible for changes, failures or actions of third-party services except to the extent required by applicable law.

Availability, support and changes

We aim to operate HelpCraft reliably and maintain compatibility with supported Shopify functionality.

However, we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability, compatibility with every theme, app or third-party configuration, or that every feature will remain unchanged.

We may improve, modify, replace or discontinue features when reasonably necessary for product development, security, legal compliance or changes to the Shopify platform.

Where practical, we will provide reasonable notice of material changes that significantly affect normal use of the Service.

Intellectual property

HelpCraft software, source code, product design, interfaces, documentation, branding and other proprietary material are owned by or licensed to the HelpCraft operator and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

These Terms do not transfer ownership of HelpCraft intellectual property to you.

You retain ownership of your merchant content and other material that you lawfully provide through the Service.

Suspension and termination

You may stop using HelpCraft and uninstall the app through Shopify at any time.

We may restrict or suspend access where reasonably necessary to address a material breach of these Terms, unlawful or abusive use, a security threat, non-payment of an applicable paid plan, or a legal or Shopify platform requirement.

Where reasonable and legally permitted, we will attempt to provide notice before a material suspension or termination.

When HelpCraft is uninstalled, the current locally stored Shopify access token is removed. Retention, privacy requests and verified Shopify redaction events are handled as described in the HelpCraft Privacy Policy.

Content and resources hosted by Shopify remain subject to Shopify's platform behavior and the merchant's Shopify account.

Disclaimer of warranties

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, HelpCraft is provided on an “as available” basis.

We do not warrant that the Service will always be uninterrupted, error-free or suitable for every merchant, business model, Shopify configuration or legal requirement.

Nothing in these Terms excludes any warranty, right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the HelpCraft operator will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, or for loss of profits, revenue, business opportunity, goodwill or data resulting from the use of, inability to use or interruption of the Service.

We are not responsible for losses caused by Shopify outages, Shopify platform changes or third-party services outside our reasonable control.

Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability where such limitation or exclusion is prohibited by applicable law.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes to HelpCraft, Shopify platform requirements, applicable law or our business practices.

When a material change is made, we will update the effective date and, where reasonably practical, provide appropriate notice.

Your continued use of HelpCraft after updated Terms take effect constitutes acceptance of those Terms to the extent permitted by applicable law.

General

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply.

A failure to enforce a provision of these Terms does not waive the right to enforce it later.

These Terms and the HelpCraft Privacy Policy govern your relationship with the HelpCraft operator regarding the Service. Shopify's own agreements and policies separately govern your relationship with Shopify.
